Shooting a sea creature will reward the player with one point, while colliding with them will result in a bite point, which may stack as long as the diver remains in contact with a sea creature.

A shark proof cage or similar cage will be provided at the upper corner screen to protect the diver from the sea creatures.

About Game Boy Color

The Game Boy Color (1998) added a color screen to the original Game Boy formula while remaining backwards compatible with the entire existing cartridge library. Its colorful, semi-transparent cartridge shells make it a visually distinct platform for shelf collectors, and several late-cycle exclusives — released just before the Game Boy Advance took over — are notably harder to find complete today.

Gamevaro tracks Shark Attack for Game Boy Color with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.

Adding Shark Attack to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This GBC release dates back to 2022.

Rarity & condition

No market sales have been tracked yet for Shark Attack — this could mean it rarely changes hands, or simply that Gamevaro hasn't recorded a sale for it yet. Be the first to add it to your collection.

Condition matters a lot for collector value: loose (cartridge/disc only), complete-in-box (CIB, with original packaging and manual) and factory-sealed copies are tracked separately because the price gap between them can be significant, especially for older releases.
