The game features two game modes.
The Quick Fire game mode has the player piloting a helicopter, trying to take out as many enemy targets as they can.
There is also a campaign mode where players can tackle various day and night missions in either Central Europe or the Persian Gulf.
Missions range from destroying enemy convoys to taking out enemy platoons.
Players start out as a greenhorn and can only do training or single scenario missions at first.
The player can eventually get promoted to campaign scenario missions where they can also get to control a complete squad of five copters.
The game features flyable versions of the AH-64A Apache, UH-60K Blackhawk, AH-66B Comanche and four other authentic U.S.
Army attack helicopters.
Copters can be equipped with unguided weapons like rockets and machine guns and guided weapons like Hellfire, Sidewinder, and Stinger missiles which are used to take out both air and ground targets.
Copters can be flown from either a cockpit view or from a chase view.
The game also has other camera views such as the remote view or the tactical view.
About Game Boy
The original Game Boy (1989) proved that handheld gaming didn't need cutting-edge graphics to succeed — its monochrome screen and legendary battery life, combined with Tetris as a pack-in, made it a cultural phenomenon. Game Boy cartridges are famously durable, so this remains one of the more accessible retro platforms to collect, though translucent color variants and complete-in-box copies with the original brick-sized manual add real value for condition-focused collectors.
Gamevaro tracks Gunship (itch) (User0x7f) for Game Boy with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding Gunship (itch) (User0x7f) to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This GB release dates back to 2021.

Rarity & condition
No market sales have been tracked yet for Gunship (itch) (User0x7f) — this could mean it rarely changes hands, or simply that Gamevaro hasn't recorded a sale for it yet. Be the first to add it to your collection.
Condition matters a lot for collector value: loose (cartridge/disc only), complete-in-box (CIB, with original packaging and manual) and factory-sealed copies are tracked separately because the price gap between them can be significant, especially for older releases.
