One night, as he was starting his late shift, things take turn for the worse.
Being held at gunpoint by an injured burglar, Matt can choose to run or be taken into custody.
Inevitably, he gets caught and tossed in with the band of four thieves that have found themselves one man short.
Unwillingly, Matt agrees to help them steal a priceless Ming Dynasty Chinese cup from the action.
The game plays as a non-stop interactive movie which occasionally presents the player with an option to make Matt do something or react in a specific way which alters the story and eventually lead to one of several good and bad endings.
Failing to select a choice in an allotted time will yield a default answer for the player.
Upon completing the game which is overall a length of a full feature movie, the player can see how many choices were made, how many endings were reached and how many chapters were unlocked.
Playing or re-playing the game does not support jumping to choices or fast forwarding of the seen videos and each playthrough starts as a new movie from beginning to end.
About Nintendo Switch
Released in 2017, the Nintendo Switch became one of the best-selling consoles of all time thanks to its hybrid handheld/docked design. Its cartridge-based physical format (as opposed to discs) has made complete-in-box collecting popular again, with certain limited print runs and Nintendo-published exclusives already commanding a premium on the secondhand market just a few years after release.
Gamevaro tracks Late Shift for Nintendo Switch with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding Late Shift to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This NSW release dates back to 2017.

Rarity & condition
No market sales have been tracked yet for Late Shift — this could mean it rarely changes hands, or simply that Gamevaro hasn't recorded a sale for it yet. Be the first to add it to your collection.
Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.
