About this game

Naughty Boy is a top-down scrolling arcade maze game.

You control a "naughty boy" who is armed with stones which he can throw and are particularly destructive when they land.

You can hold down the button while throwing to make the stone travel further.

Your goal is to reach the end of the level at the top of the screen and destroy the flags decorating the enemy's fortress.

While doing this, you must avoid creatures of various sorts including ghosts, robots, and fire-breathing dragons that may emerge from nearby swamps.

Once the flags are destroyed, the castle catches fire and the next level begins.

Bonuses in the form of fruit may occasionally appear, and may be captured by landing a rock on them.

Special bonuses, represented by question marks, will cause all of the enemies on screen to become afraid and unable to harm you for a short period of time.

Some of the levels also require you to destroy some of the terrain (such as barbed wire or defensive walls) that are blocking your way.

Every two levels, there is a bonus round where you are flying a balloon overhead and can drop items on the monster running around beneath you for points.

The bonus round ends when your balloon runs out of fuel.

There are a total of four level maps, after which the game repeats at a higher difficulty.

About Nintendo Switch

Released in 2017, the Nintendo Switch became one of the best-selling consoles of all time thanks to its hybrid handheld/docked design. Its cartridge-based physical format (as opposed to discs) has made complete-in-box collecting popular again, with certain limited print runs and Nintendo-published exclusives already commanding a premium on the secondhand market just a few years after release.

Gamevaro tracks Naught for Nintendo Switch with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.

Adding Naught to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This NSW release dates back to 2020.

Rarity & condition

No market sales have been tracked yet for Naught — this could mean it rarely changes hands, or simply that Gamevaro hasn't recorded a sale for it yet. Be the first to add it to your collection.

Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.

What's the difference between loose, CIB and sealed for Naught?

Loose means cartridge or disc only, CIB (complete in box) includes the original box and manual, and sealed means factory-sealed and never opened. These are tracked as separate market values because the price gap between them can be significant, especially for older releases.
