About this game

Reanimal is a cinematic survival horror platformer that follows two orphaned siblings, Boy and Girl, as they attempt to rescue their missing friends while escaping a shattered, nightmarish island.

Though structurally reminiscent of Tarsier's earlier work in the Little Nightmares games, Reanimal adopts a bleaker tone, a more overtly violent atmosphere, and a dynamic cinematic camera that shifts perspective rather that using a side view.

The story unfolds as a mood-driven journey across a fractured contemporary dystopia of flooded streets, abandoned industry, farmland, war trenches and storm-battered coastlines.

After reuniting at sea, the siblings pursue their captured friend Hood while evading grotesque creatures.

Environmental storytelling hints at themes of corruption, trauma, and cyclical destruction, with recurring imagery, such as a well and a lamb-like apparition.

Dialogue is sparse but fully voiced.

Gameplay blends stealth, light combat, environmental puzzles, and cinematic platforming, prioritizing forward momentum and tightly choreographed set pieces.

Progression is structured around episodic monster encounters that build from introduction to climactic pursuit or confrontation.

Players must cooperate to manipulate objects, operate machinery, and navigate hazards, with mechanics ranging from valve-turning and boosting one another onto ledges to brief vehicle and sailing sequences.

While largely linear, the world opens up after players acquire a boat, enabling limited nonlinear exploration of optional areas containing optional collectibles such as masks, posters providing concept art, objects the main character can sit on, and several secrets.

Basic controls are for movement, looking around, signaling the AI character (single-player mode), activating light, operating switches, basic combat, sprinting, sliding and crouching that can also be used for stealth.

The game supports both single-player and local or online cooperative multiplayer.

About PC

PC gaming spans over four decades, from early DOS titles to today's massive Steam and digital-storefront libraries. Because "PC" covers everything from 1990s CD-ROM releases to current AAA titles, it's the single largest platform by game count on Gamevaro. For collectors, PC gaming splits into two very different worlds: physical big-box releases from the 1990s and 2000s (increasingly collectible, especially complete-in-box with original manuals and inserts) and the modern digital library, which Gamevaro tracks for portfolio and spending purposes even though it has no resale market.

Gamevaro tracks Reanimal for PC with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.

Adding Reanimal to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This PC release dates back to 2026.

Rarity & condition

No market sales have been tracked yet for Reanimal — this could mean it rarely changes hands, or simply that Gamevaro hasn't recorded a sale for it yet. Be the first to add it to your collection.

Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.

What's the difference between loose, CIB and sealed for Reanimal?
