With his dreams shattered, depressed and in low spirits, he returned to his hometown, a small rural settlement that has prospered since he left.
Very soon Aoi finds himself cast into the role of a "dorm mother", running a girls dormitory in a mansion.
Kotori Habane, the girl in a wheelchair he met earlier that day, is one of the girls living here as well.
One day, Aoi strolled into an old looking garage and noticed a disassembled glider inside.
He was not able to cycle anymore so he was looking for an alternative club activity, and this piqued his interest.
What's more, Kotori, and his childhood girl friend, Ageha, also became interested in that club and they all became members.
What seemed like a place of refuge after a huge defeat turned out not so bad after all, because on returning to his hometown Aoi opened the door to new dreams, relationships, and adventures.

All the in-game characters have full voice overs, but not the protagonist.

About PlayStation 3
Released in 2006, the PlayStation 3 had a rocky start thanks to its high launch price but became known for its exclusive franchises and Blu-ray drive, which doubled as an early home theater upgrade for many households. PS3 collecting is still relatively young — most titles are inexpensive — but the console's digital PSN storefront closure risk has pushed more collectors toward physical copies specifically to preserve access.
Gamevaro tracks If My Heart Had Wings for PlayStation 3 with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding If My Heart Had Wings to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This PS3 release dates back to 2014.
