Puzzles consist mostly of trying to move the different clones to the correct position at the right time so that door are opened by the pressure plates they can stand on.
Additional difficulty arises from red, blue and purple lamps which block the player from swapping to other clones, creating new clones or both respectively.
The game takes place on an mostly abandoned space station.
Its story unfolds mostly through diary logs and encounters with an NPC.
Thematic to the story is cloning in relation to human consciousness and the soul.
About PlayStation 3
Released in 2006, the PlayStation 3 had a rocky start thanks to its high launch price but became known for its exclusive franchises and Blu-ray drive, which doubled as an early home theater upgrade for many households. PS3 collecting is still relatively young — most titles are inexpensive — but the console's digital PSN storefront closure risk has pushed more collectors toward physical copies specifically to preserve access.
Gamevaro tracks The Swapper for PlayStation 3 with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding The Swapper to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This PS3 release dates back to 2013.

Rarity & condition
No market sales have been tracked yet for The Swapper — this could mean it rarely changes hands, or simply that Gamevaro hasn't recorded a sale for it yet. Be the first to add it to your collection.
Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.
