About this game

Nothing Ever Remains Obscure, or N.E.R.O. for short, is an graphic adventure/puzzle game which takes place through the eyes of the protagonist, a young boy clad in a blue cloak, through several colorful scenery's, with an almost silent narrative.

The silence is only broken by the narrator after a puzzle is solved correctly and provides some continuing background information.

The only few hints about the "possible" story of the game and it's history of the boy protagonist are strewn across the scenery as floating texts.

Early on in the game a second figure, clad in a red/black cloak (presumably the father of the boy clad in blue), can be controlled to solve the more difficult puzzles later in the game.

No real enemies are involved in the game and the only means of attacking/solving puzzles is a light orb ("the Sphere of Light") which can be shot from the protagonists arm and a combination of protagonist/red cloaked second figure configurations.

Several collectibles, picture fragments, can be picked up to clarify the background story.

About Xbox One

Microsoft's Xbox One launched in 2013 alongside the PS4 and leaned heavily into backwards compatibility and subscription services like Game Pass. Because so many Xbox One owners moved to all-digital libraries, physical Xbox One cartridges — sorry, discs — in good condition are comparatively less common on the secondhand market than their PlayStation equivalents from the same era.

Gamevaro tracks N.E.R.O.: Nothing Ever Remains Obscure for Xbox One with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.

Adding N.E.R.O.: Nothing Ever Remains Obscure to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This XONE release dates back to 2015.
