This edition features teams from 15 major leagues - Brazil, Sweden and Japan are among those featured for the first time.
You now have reserve and youth teams, in which you can play trialists and try out young players - the assistant manager can handle these games if you wish.
New to the Championship Manager 3 game engine is a training system, allowing you to specify which skills groups of your players (such as defenders, reserves, or those returning from injury) concentrate on.
The game takes a while to calculate results and other AI team decisions, but for the first time the game has an integrated multi-tasking system, allowing you to make decisions and browse other squads while this is taking place.
The game engine also now includes network play.
If you are successful, you will be rewarding with the ultimate accolade - the chance to manage an international team.
This involves scouring clubs to find eligible players, and then selecting squads to play in World Cup / European Championship / Copa America matches, as appropriate.
About Commodore Amiga
The Commodore Amiga (1985) was ahead of its time technically — multitasking, custom graphics and sound chips — and built a passionate following in Europe in particular, where it rivaled and often outsold contemporary consoles. Amiga collecting today is a niche but dedicated hobby: original boxed software on floppy disk is comparatively scarce since floppies degrade, making well-preserved complete copies genuinely valuable to the right collector.
Gamevaro tracks Championship Manager for Commodore Amiga with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding Championship Manager to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This AMIGA release dates back to 1992.

Rarity & condition
Only a handful of market sales have been tracked for Championship Manager, suggesting it doesn't trade hands very often — a sign of relative scarcity compared to more common Commodore Amiga titles.
Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.
