About this game

Shūto is a teenage boy living in a world inhabited by majestic creatures known as Wonders.

When his father, Genzō, gives him a special "Snap Shooter" camera capable of transforming photographs of Wonders into powerful cards, Shūto sets out to compete in the Snap Grand Prix — a tournament where players battle using their cards to determine the ultimate Snap champion.

Along the way, Shūto makes new friends and rivals while uncovering a sinister conspiracy by the shadowy organization known as Magnet, which captures and exploits Wonders for its own gain.

Snapkid's is a role-playing/card battle game.

Throughout the game, the player explores the world and encounters wild Wonders to photograph.

Once a Wonder is spotted, the game switches to a first-person camera mode, where the player must track the creature with a crosshair and capture the best possible photograph.

The resulting card's abilities and strength depend on factors such as the distance from which the photo was taken, as well as the species and behavior of the Wonder.

In the card battle segments, players build a deck of up to 30 cards and face off against computer-controlled opponents.

A match is won by reducing the opponent's HP to zero or by exhausting their deck so they can no longer draw cards.

About Game Boy Advance

Nintendo's Game Boy Advance (2001) offered near-SNES-level graphics in a handheld and became a home for excellent ports as well as original titles across nearly every genre. GBA cartridges are generally durable and plentiful, making it an approachable platform for new collectors, though a few late-release RPGs and limited exclusives have become genuine chase items.

Gamevaro tracks Snapkid's for Game Boy Advance with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.

Adding Snapkid's to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This GBA release dates back to 2002.

Rarity & condition

Only a handful of market sales have been tracked for Snapkid's, suggesting it doesn't trade hands very often — a sign of relative scarcity compared to more common Game Boy Advance titles.

Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.
