About this game

It is a platformer where the player takes the role of five characters from the movie - excluding Alice - and protects Alice, jumps over pits, fights against enemies and solves puzzles.
Every character has a special ability: White Rabbit can stop and rewind time, March Hare has telekinetic abilities, Dormouse is an effective fighter, Hatter can create optical illusions and shift the perspective and Cheshire Cat can make herself invisible.
The player can jump between the characters on the fly to solve the puzzles.
These abilities are also useful during the fights, e.g.
White Rabbit freezes the enemy and March Hare steals his shield.
The game is not totally linear but offers slight changes of exploration here and there - the reward are glowing bulbs which can be used to upgrade the abilities of the heroes.
In some bigger places Alice shows the direct way with her mental abilities.
During the boss battles there are also quick-time events.
About Game Boy Color
The Game Boy Color (1998) added a color screen to the original Game Boy formula while remaining backwards compatible with the entire existing cartridge library. Its colorful, semi-transparent cartridge shells make it a visually distinct platform for shelf collectors, and several late-cycle exclusives — released just before the Game Boy Advance took over — are notably harder to find complete today.

Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.
