The various gorgon craft will keep flying by on the screen in varying numbers and in different flight patterns.
At first they fly high in the sky but then progressively lower.
If an enemy makes it low enough before you destroy it, it will use it's weapons and destroy one of the buildings in Atlantis.
As you progress in the game, the enemy craft will keep increasing in speed.
The game ends when all remaining buildings in the city have been destroyed.
About Game Boy Color
The Game Boy Color (1998) added a color screen to the original Game Boy formula while remaining backwards compatible with the entire existing cartridge library. Its colorful, semi-transparent cartridge shells make it a visually distinct platform for shelf collectors, and several late-cycle exclusives — released just before the Game Boy Advance took over — are notably harder to find complete today.
Gamevaro tracks Atlantis The Lost Empire for Game Boy Color with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding Atlantis The Lost Empire to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This GBC release dates back to 2001.

Market insights
Rarity & condition
Atlantis The Lost Empire has a steady sales history on the tracked marketplaces, meaning enough copies circulate to establish a reliable market price.
Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.
