Keep the Balance
Game Boy Color · 2001
About this game
Keep the Balance! is a puzzle game, where the goal is to balance a big weighing scale.
The longer it stays in balance, the more points are gained.

To do this, the player uses a catapult to throw objects needed to balance the scale that are coming from the left and the right of the screen on a conveyor belt.
As these objects differ in weight, the player needs to carefully choose on which scale they're going to throw each one of them.
To make things worse, all kinds of trouble appear on screen, making it progressively more challenging: these can range from a crocodile that eat objects to a joker that throw around playing cards, offsetting a carefully balanced scale.
The game features five different game worlds, each divided into 16 levels.
About Game Boy Color
The Game Boy Color (1998) added a color screen to the original Game Boy formula while remaining backwards compatible with the entire existing cartridge library. Its colorful, semi-transparent cartridge shells make it a visually distinct platform for shelf collectors, and several late-cycle exclusives — released just before the Game Boy Advance took over — are notably harder to find complete today.
Gamevaro tracks Keep the Balance for Game Boy Color with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding Keep the Balance to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This GBC release dates back to 2001.

Market insights
Rarity & condition
Keep the Balance has a steady sales history on the tracked marketplaces, meaning enough copies circulate to establish a reliable market price.
Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.
