Super Robot Taisen 64
Nintendo 64 · 1999
About this game
The basic concept remains unchanged in this N64 installment of the series - it's a turned based strategy game where the player commands robots and pilots from various Japanese shows, for example Dancouga and different Gundam series, as well as Banpresto originals.
Newly introduced are Six God Combination Godmars, Giant Robo and Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team.

At the beginning of the game, the player is offered a choice out of four pairs of protagonists/rivals, which affects the plot and the stages played.
With the different variations included, there are over 100 missions.
During the stages, the player moves his units over a map, attacking enemies and using special abilities.
When getting attacked, player units may defend, counter, or attempt to evade, resulting in no damage at all if successful.
Destroyed enemies give experience and money for upgrading between the missions.
Often, scripted events happen, such as reinforcements arriving.
Sometimes it's also possible to persuade certain characters to join the player's side, in addition to those that join automatically.
Certain, otherwise unobtainable units, can also be unlocked by using the N64 Transfer Pak in combination with the Gameboy Color game Super Robot Wars: Link Battler .
About Nintendo 64
The Nintendo 64 (1996) stuck with cartridges after most competitors moved to CDs, trading longer load times for near-instant game access and durability that's held up well over nearly three decades. N64 cartridges are largely intact and functional today, and while common titles are affordable, several late-release and multiplayer-focused games with smaller print runs have become firmly established as valuable collector pieces.
Gamevaro tracks Super Robot Taisen 64 for Nintendo 64 with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding Super Robot Taisen 64 to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This N64 release dates back to 1999.

Rarity & condition
Only a handful of market sales have been tracked for Super Robot Taisen 64, suggesting it doesn't trade hands very often — a sign of relative scarcity compared to more common Nintendo 64 titles.
Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.
