There are two types of Power projectiles: "P" Power projectiles, that increases the plane's firepower by one level, and "F" Power projectiles, that increases the plane's firepower to the maximum level instantly.

The maximum level only lasts for a limited amount of shots.

When certain ground enemies and buildings are destroyed, money bonuses appear which give a random amount of points each.

When the player reaches the end of the stage, the player has to face a boss ship.

About Neo Geo AES

SNK's Neo Geo AES (1990) was marketed as the ultimate home arcade experience, using the same hardware as SNK's arcade cabinets — at an extraordinarily high price for both the console and its cartridges. That exclusivity is exactly why Neo Geo AES games remain among the most expensive in all of retro collecting; several titles routinely sell for well over a thousand euros in good condition.

Gamevaro tracks Aero Fighters 2 for Neo Geo AES with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.

Adding Aero Fighters 2 to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This NEO release dates back to 1994.

Rarity & condition

No market sales have been tracked yet for Aero Fighters 2 — this could mean it rarely changes hands, or simply that Gamevaro hasn't recorded a sale for it yet. Be the first to add it to your collection.

Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.
