Miraculously, it reaches her boyfriend Yanchamaru who, being the upstanding samurai that he is, immediately sets out to save her.
Kaiketsu Yanchamaru 3 is the final sequel to Kid Niki and is a significant departure from the first two games.
Not only does the game feature full four-way scrolling and large maps to explore, but Yanchamaru himself sports a completely new look and numerous new abilities.
His trademark spinning sword now seems to more closely resemble a bō , and Yanchamaru can now use it to shoot waves of energy at foes, bounce on the end, spin in place, and even launch off of walls and corners.
Taking a cue from Mega Man , he also now has the ability to slide through narrow spaces and underneath dangerous spikes.
Each stage contains numerous keys and locked doors.
Any key will open any door, and it is possible to complete a stage without even finding all the keys and doors.
The final door in each stage leads to the boss room.
After clearing each stage, your performance is tallied, and depending on what you did, bonuses such as points or lives are given.
About Nintendo Entertainment System
The Nintendo Entertainment System (1983 in Japan, 1985 in the West) revived the North American video game industry after the 1983 crash and established conventions — cartridges, licensing seals, save systems — that shaped the industry for decades. NES collecting is one of the most established retro markets: common titles remain cheap, but a well-known handful of low-print-run games (many from smaller third-party publishers) are among the most expensive video games in existence.
Gamevaro tracks Kaiketsu Yanchamaru 3 for Nintendo Entertainment System with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding Kaiketsu Yanchamaru 3 to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This NES release dates back to 1993.

Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.
