Sidewinder 2 is an action flight-sim game and the sequel to Bogey: Dead 6 , in which the player controls a pilot with the elite Sidewinder squad.
The game is divided into a series of missions which have various objectives.
Many missions simply require the player to shoot down all enemy aircraft, while others require safely reaching a specific point on the map, destroying specific ground-based targets, or using specialized ordnance to extinguish fires.
Some missions also require the player to safely take off and land their plane.
Clearing missions will earn points, which can be used to upgrade aircraft in four attributes: speed, attack, defense, and stability.
The player can also increase their rank, which will grant access to additional types of planes; there are only four available at the start, with a further 22 available to unlock.
Bonus and training missions can also be unlocked by meeting certain conditions.
There are three difficulty levels, and three different control styles which increase the complexity and skill requirements.
The game also includes a simple mission edit mode to to create custom missions by placing enemy formations and terrain.
About Nintendo Entertainment System
The Nintendo Entertainment System (1983 in Japan, 1985 in the West) revived the North American video game industry after the 1983 crash and established conventions — cartridges, licensing seals, save systems — that shaped the industry for decades. NES collecting is one of the most established retro markets: common titles remain cheap, but a well-known handful of low-print-run games (many from smaller third-party publishers) are among the most expensive video games in existence.
Gamevaro tracks Sidewinder for Nintendo Entertainment System with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding Sidewinder to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This NES release dates back to 1989.

Market insights
Rarity & condition
Sidewinder has a steady sales history on the tracked marketplaces, meaning enough copies circulate to establish a reliable market price.
Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.
