Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game
Nintendo Entertainment System · 1990
About this game
This game is the first in a series of Game Boy games by Konami based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series of comic books, movies, cartoons, toys, etc.
The basic premise of the TMNT is this: Four turtles, living in a sewer in New York, are exposed to some radioactive goo.

The goo turns them into humanoid creatures and gives them approximately human intelligence.
Hence, they are "mutants." Also, they are teenage turtles, which means they all talk like surfers and like to eat pizza.
An equally mutated, but apparently much older, rat named Splinter acts as the turtle's guardian.
He trains the turtles to be ninjas, and to fight crime.
He also gives the turtle's their names: Michaelangelo, Donatello, Raphael, and Leonardo.
In the game, the Turtles' TV reporter friend, April, is kidnapped by the evil samurai, Shredder.
The turtles must rescue her and defeat Shredder.
Gameplay consists of standard side-scrolling jump-and-attack action.
Occasionally, hidden bonus games appear to give your turtle bonus health points.
About Nintendo Entertainment System
The Nintendo Entertainment System (1983 in Japan, 1985 in the West) revived the North American video game industry after the 1983 crash and established conventions — cartridges, licensing seals, save systems — that shaped the industry for decades. NES collecting is one of the most established retro markets: common titles remain cheap, but a well-known handful of low-print-run games (many from smaller third-party publishers) are among the most expensive video games in existence.
Gamevaro tracks Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game for Nintendo Entertainment System with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This NES release dates back to 1990.
