Like other Ace Attorney games, Dai Gyakuten Saiban 2 features a combination of detective-oriented adventure scenes and courtroom scenes.
All of the previous game's mechanics return, although this time the "Dance of Deduction" sequences are significantly more in-depth.
Like with the previous game, the plot is divided into five cases: The Adventure of the Blossoming Attorney : Back in Japan, university student Rei Membami is accused of the murder of a visiting British student in a case eerily resminiscent of the first case of the previous game.
She's defended by newcomer attorney Ryutaro Naruhodo in his first-ever trial.
The Memoirs of the Clouded Kokoro : In an extended flashback, Ryūnosuke recalls a trial that occurred during the events of the previous game.
Soseki Natsume, surely the unluckiest man in London, finds himself accused of murder only a few days after his acquittal in The Adventure of the Clouded Kokoro - this time for murdering the other lodger in the Garrideb household.
Ryūnosuke defends him once again.
The Return of the Great Departed Soul : A businessman is killed during an explosion during the demonstration of German inventor Albert Harebrayne's newest invention, and now the courts must decide: was it an accident, or murder? Meanwhile, Sholmes investigates the theft of a prized waxwork from the world-famous Madame Tusspells wax museum.
Twisted Karma and His Last Bow : A London policeman is murdered, and the suspect is none other than prosecutor van Zieks.
Ryūnosuke longs to investigate, but can he convince van Zieks to accept his representation in court? Meanwhile, Sholmes investigates two cases: a suspicious advertisement from the "Red-Headed League", offering a guaranteed income to any red-headed man in London; and the location of a woman's missing husband.
About Nintendo 3DS
The Nintendo 3DS (2011) added glasses-free stereoscopic 3D and a second analog input to Nintendo's handheld line, eventually building a library that rivaled the DS in size and quality. Because the eShop for digital purchases has since closed, physical 3DS cartridges are the only way to preserve access to many titles — a dynamic that's pushing more collectors toward cartridge-based copies even for games that were originally digital-first.
Gamevaro tracks Dai Gyakuten Saiban 2 for Nintendo 3DS with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding Dai Gyakuten Saiban 2 to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically.

Market insights
