Aquarium [Limited Edition]
Nintendo DS · 2008
About this game
Fantasy Aquarium by DS is a fish tank simulation.
Contrary to Aquarium by DS by the same developer, which is limited to "normal" aquarium suiting fishes, the player of this game can choose from 30 different underwater animals which can't be held in fish tanks in real life (e.g. whales, dolphins, sharks, penguins).

Additionally, the player can customize their tank in size and add different backgrounds and accessories like plants, rocks or even buildings like the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
New fish types can be unlocked by taking good care of the aquariums residents.
And that's the aim of the game, taking care of the fishes in the tank.
They need to be fed, the tank has to be cleaned and water temp and salinity have to be adjusted to create a perfect environment.
A wrong environment or an unsuitable mix of animals in the tank, for example killer whales and penguins at the same time, will result in the death of the players pets.
Instead of swimming dead at the surface or bloody death animations they simply disappear from the screen.
Not playing the game for a few days and therefore not feeding, will result in a deadly surprise, too.
Using the Wi-Fi-feature of the DS the player can swap fishes with other players.
About Nintendo DS
The dual-screen, touch-enabled Nintendo DS (2004) became the best-selling handheld of all time, helped by its huge and genre-diverse library. Cartridge-based DS games have held up well physically over 20 years, and complete-in-box copies of the system's biggest sellers (Nintendogs, Pokémon, Mario Kart) remain very accessible for new collectors starting out.
Gamevaro tracks Aquarium [Limited Edition] for Nintendo DS with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding Aquarium [Limited Edition] to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This NDS release dates back to 2008.

Rarity & condition
No market sales have been tracked yet for Aquarium [Limited Edition] — this could mean it rarely changes hands, or simply that Gamevaro hasn't recorded a sale for it yet. Be the first to add it to your collection.
Condition matters a lot for collector value: loose (cartridge/disc only), complete-in-box (CIB, with original packaging and manual) and factory-sealed copies are tracked separately because the price gap between them can be significant, especially for older releases.
