About this game
Cat Quest is an open-world RPG and a Hack and slash game with 2D Sprites in a 3D looking environment that tells the story of a cat with Dragonblood mark in the dragon infested land of Felingard. the game follows the unnamed protagonist and his guardian spirit fighting and getting stronger to save his kidnapped sister from the hands of Drakoth.
The game play is mostly fighting monsters and doing quests for towns men for XP and Gold that can be used to buy chests that can have new armour or upgrade the existing ones. the world map is full of dungeons and ruins from the past, each with its own unique layout and a chest or possible hidden golden chests. while monster variety is low each has their own attack patterns and spells they can use, the same spells can be learned for gold from mages across the map and be upgraded as well for more damage.

The map consist of multiple big and small towns and in each town gives a quest chain with certain amount of gold and XP, about that townsfolk and after each Quest the next one will have higher level enemies for the player to defeat, while there is no limit that stops the player from playing the high level quests from the start it can be challenging with low level and weak armour it is up to the player to decide, some quests however are needed to finish the main quests like the ability of water walking to reach the necessary places.
Around the map are tall Stone like structures that have short descriptions of them, telling the lore of the world and how it came to be. while the story can be mostly understood from the main quests, there are gaps that can be filled with these stories from the past and some quests that explains something from the world and its characters.
