About this game
Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen is a single-player action role-playing game.
In this title the player assumes the role of the Arisen, a human marked by fate whose heart has been stolen by a mighty Dragon during an attack on their home in the duchy of Gransys.

Determined to reclaim their stolen heart and challenge the Dragon, the Arisen travels the realm accompanied by unearthly companions known as Pawns and explores a world filled with monsters, political intrigue and an ancient cycle of conflict.
After the main quest’s conclusion, the expanded content of Dark Arisen unlocks a mysterious island (Bitterblack Isle) teeming with dark forces and further raising the stakes for the Arisen’s journey.
Core gameplay revolves around fluid, real-time combat and character customisation.
At character creation the player sets appearance, gender and then selects a Vocation (such as Fighter, Mage, Strider, Warrior, Ranger, Sorcerer) which determines weapon access and skill-growth.
In battle the Arisen can climb and grapple large foes, exploit weak points, dodge and attack with various weapons and magicks, and combine tactical cooperation with the Pawns - who may be customised in appearance and load-out and optionally borrowed from other players’ worlds.
Experience is earned by defeating monsters, completing quests, and exploring the realm.
The player manages equipment (weapons, armour, augments), selects skills, changes vocation as desired, and adapts load-outs for the varied threats of night, region and monster strength.
The open world of Gransys provides a day-night cycle and dynamic weather which affect visibility and monster behaviour.
Travel occurs on foot, via horseback, and through docks and ferrystones to distant outposts.
Resource management includes carrying rations and springs, purchasing gear, and deciding when to venture into high-risk areas.
Climbing creatures such as cyclopes, griffins and hydras is a signature mechanic.
Dialogue with NPCs is kept functional rather than
About Nintendo Switch
Released in 2017, the Nintendo Switch became one of the best-selling consoles of all time thanks to its hybrid handheld/docked design. Its cartridge-based physical format (as opposed to discs) has made complete-in-box collecting popular again, with certain limited print runs and Nintendo-published exclusives already commanding a premium on the secondhand market just a few years after release.
Gamevaro tracks Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen for Nintendo Switch with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This NSW release dates back to 2013.
