About this game
Neverwinter is a MMORPG set in and around the Dungeons & Dragons city Neverwinter.
It is a dark time and the city is attacked by a horde of undead lead by Valindra Shadowmantle.

The player character shipwrecks in front of the city and proceeds to help defending the city.
While the game uses the Dungeon & Dragon character system as base, it was modified to suit the action-based combat: the player has to actively target enemies and dodge attacks.
When solving quests (mostly of the "kill x" and "collect y" variety) and killing enemies, the player character collects experience points and - depending on the used class - improves skills.
The city is no continues area but consists of many small zones which open up during the storyline and have to be travelled to via a map screen.
The quest zones and dungeons are instances and can be solved by single characters, partly due to eventually recruited AI companions.
For players who want to play with or against other people, there are group dungeons, skirmishes (surviving enemy waves) and two PvP modes: there are arena fights (5vs5) in which the teams have to conquer and hold locations and a big fight for the dwarven mine Gauntlgrym (20vs20).
The Neverwinter Nights series, which has no direct ties to Neverwinter except the setting, was known for its big focus on its editor.
Neverwinter continues this tradition with the Foundry editor which allows players to construct quests and dungeons.
At first those areas are only available through a catalogue, but if certain quality standards are met they are integrated into the game.
All content is available for free, but to support itself the game has an in-game item shop in which players can buy stuff (e.g. mounts or resetting skills) with diamonds (which are either earned by grinding daily quests or bought with real money).
The auction house allows players to sell of their loot and uses the same currency.
About Nintendo Switch
Released in 2017, the Nintendo Switch became one of the best-selling consoles of all time thanks to its hybrid handheld/docked design. Its cartridge-based physical format (as opposed to discs) has made complete-in-box collecting popular again, with certain limited print runs and Nintendo-published exclusives already commanding a premium on the secondhand market just a few years after release.
Gamevaro tracks Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition for Nintendo Switch with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This NSW release dates back to 2017.
