Players can increase the bond between their Digimon and themselves by praising, scolding, feeding, or offering items.
Together, they travel through various environments completing objectives and advancing the story by interacting with non-player characters and battling enemy Digimon they encounter in the field.
Battles themselves take place in real-time when an enemy creature is touched, which causes a circular-shaped battle area to appear which each partner is free to move within.
The companion Digimon act automatically through an assigned AI strategy while the player can halt combat to issue commands or use restorative items.
Players can switch between either partner in battle to issue specific commands or instigate a special evolution where both Digimon temporarily merge.
After battle, their Digimon's stats are increased, making them stronger.
A total of 217 obtainable Digimon creatures are available in the Japanese version of the game. with a further 15 added to the western version of the game, taking the total to 232.
About PlayStation Vita
Sony's PlayStation Vita (2011) was a technically impressive handheld that never found the commercial audience it deserved, leading to a comparatively small but well-regarded library. Because Sony discontinued cartridge production relatively early and shut down the PSN storefront for new purchases, physical Vita games — some produced in very limited numbers by niche publishers — have become a genuinely scarce, actively appreciating collecting niche.
Gamevaro tracks Digimon World: Next Order for PlayStation Vita with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding Digimon World: Next Order to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This PS VITA release dates back to 2016.

Rarity & condition
No market sales have been tracked yet for Digimon World: Next Order — this could mean it rarely changes hands, or simply that Gamevaro hasn't recorded a sale for it yet. Be the first to add it to your collection.
Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.
