When she shows it to her brother, Taiga, the book teleports them to another world - Avatar.
When they awaken, they find themselves in a world reminiscent of Medieval Europe.
Before they understand what's happening, an energetic woman comes before them and tells them they have become Savior Candidates.
They must use the training they learn at the school to defeat the Lords of Ruin and Ruin itself to save Avatar and every other world along with their friends.
However, Taiga finds he has become the Red Apostle, which complicates matters greatly.
What is going on with the fight with Ruin? Will he actually be able to become the Messiah and save Avatar?
About PlayStation 2
The PlayStation 2 (2000) is the best-selling game console in history, with a library exceeding 9,000 titles that spans everything from budget shovelware to genre-defining classics. That massive volume means PS2 collecting is accessible and affordable overall, but a handful of low-print-run RPGs and cult titles have become genuinely expensive — a common pattern once a console's original audience grows up with disposable income.
Gamevaro tracks Duel Savior Destiny for PlayStation 2 with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding Duel Savior Destiny to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This PS2 release dates back to 2005.

Rarity & condition
Only a handful of market sales have been tracked for Duel Savior Destiny, suggesting it doesn't trade hands very often — a sign of relative scarcity compared to more common PlayStation 2 titles.
Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.
