There are twelve tracks in total, divided over four chapters.
They include environments such as a busy financial district, an industrial port, and villages in Southern Europe.
Racing is the regular game mode where races have to be won by finishing in first place or wrecking all opponents.
Cars have a health meter and there is a damage model with visual clues to the condition.
In Car Basher the player's driver chooses one of the twelve available weapons such as a baseball bat or a crowbar, and needs to trash the opponent's car with as much damage as possible before time runs out to win the car.
Battle Arena has Destruction Derby-like environments with booby traps, ramps, loopings, and fire for much more destructive gameplay.
The main goal is to lure or push other cars into traps.
The final game mode is called Stunt and offers classic gameplay from the series where the driver has to be ejected through the windshield at the right angle to reach targets.
The cars are controlled by holding the Wii Remote horizontally and tilting it to steer.
The game can be played locally in multiplayer through a split-screen.
About PlayStation 2
The PlayStation 2 (2000) is the best-selling game console in history, with a library exceeding 9,000 titles that spans everything from budget shovelware to genre-defining classics. That massive volume means PS2 collecting is accessible and affordable overall, but a handful of low-print-run RPGs and cult titles have become genuinely expensive — a common pattern once a console's original audience grows up with disposable income.
Gamevaro tracks FlatOut for PlayStation 2 with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding FlatOut to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This PS2 release dates back to 2004.

Market insights
Rarity & condition
FlatOut has a steady sales history on the tracked marketplaces, meaning enough copies circulate to establish a reliable market price.
Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.
