This time, there's a choice between American and Japanese mosquitoes, each attacking a family of its nationality.

The player controls the mosquito, flying around the room where the victim takes a rest.

When approaching the human, the possible target areas on the body glow green.

When the insect lands on those places, a small zoom screen shows the exposed skin and the mosquito ready to attack.

Pressing the analog button makes the bug bite the victim, and moving the analog control fast starts the pumping action, where a syringe starts to slowly fill with blood.

The danger of the human swatting the bug increases as the skin surrounding the bite gets more red.

Sometimes the human gets up and starts to search for the mosquito.

Green beams shine forth from the eyes, and the player must maneuver the insect out of its reach.

When engaging in battle mode, the mosquito must bite certain body parts to decrease the human stress shown at the bottom of the screen.

About PlayStation 2

The PlayStation 2 (2000) is the best-selling game console in history, with a library exceeding 9,000 titles that spans everything from budget shovelware to genre-defining classics. That massive volume means PS2 collecting is accessible and affordable overall, but a handful of low-print-run RPGs and cult titles have become genuinely expensive — a common pattern once a console's original audience grows up with disposable income.

Gamevaro tracks Ka 2: Let's Go Hawaii for PlayStation 2 with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.

Adding Ka 2: Let's Go Hawaii to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This PS2 release dates back to 2003.

Rarity & condition

Only a handful of market sales have been tracked for Ka 2: Let's Go Hawaii, suggesting it doesn't trade hands very often — a sign of relative scarcity compared to more common PlayStation 2 titles.

Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.
