To combat the apocalypse, a brilliant doctor sends out a warrior, pirate and gunslinger to quell the menace and send these monsters back to where they belong.
McFarlane's Evil Prophecy is an action beat 'em up with horror and supernatural elements, and in some ways, can be described as Dynasty Warriors meets Resident Evil .
Players use a variety of weapons, magical powers and melee combat moves across several levels.
Boss fights largely consist of famous horror monsters, such as Frankenstein, the Mummy, Werewolf and Dracula, just to name a few.
Players can also unlock new weapons and play up with four players.
Many of the game's art assets and characters are created by comic book artist Todd McFarlane , hence the title.
Players can unlock an art gallery and interviews with McFarlane as bonus features.
About PlayStation 2
The PlayStation 2 (2000) is the best-selling game console in history, with a library exceeding 9,000 titles that spans everything from budget shovelware to genre-defining classics. That massive volume means PS2 collecting is accessible and affordable overall, but a handful of low-print-run RPGs and cult titles have become genuinely expensive — a common pattern once a console's original audience grows up with disposable income.
Gamevaro tracks McFarlane's Evil Prophecy for PlayStation 2 with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding McFarlane's Evil Prophecy to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This PS2 release dates back to 2004.

Market insights
Rarity & condition
