About this game
Mizuiro (みずいろ) was originally released as an adult visual-novel, which yielded this console port for PlayStation 2 and Dreamcast two years later.
The game follows the story of Kenji Katase (片瀬 健二), a high-school student who lives with his adopted sister, Yuki (雪希).

One day, Kenji's childhood friend, Hiyori Hayasaka (早坂 日和), re-appears in his life and his long-gone feelings of affection toward her started to awaken.
As is the case with many romance-driven visual novels, your choices will determine how the story branches, and your actions will drive the story toward the heroine of your interest.
While this console game version removed the adult content, it added additional character and story content with new CG events.
As you play through the games, you unlock CG gallery for heroines which is accessible via main menu, along with the music player.
About PlayStation 2
The PlayStation 2 (2000) is the best-selling game console in history, with a library exceeding 9,000 titles that spans everything from budget shovelware to genre-defining classics. That massive volume means PS2 collecting is accessible and affordable overall, but a handful of low-print-run RPGs and cult titles have become genuinely expensive — a common pattern once a console's original audience grows up with disposable income.
Gamevaro tracks Mizuiro for PlayStation 2 with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding Mizuiro to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This PS2 release dates back to 2002.

Rarity & condition
Only a handful of market sales have been tracked for Mizuiro, suggesting it doesn't trade hands very often — a sign of relative scarcity compared to more common PlayStation 2 titles.
Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.
