The story offers two scenarios, one played as a Sana Hidaka, a 16-year old high-school student who returns to his hometown after five years, reuniting with his friends and noticing changes in places and people alike.

The other chapter follows the story of Shusuke Wakatsuki, a childhood friend of Sana who is living in Sakuranamori with his twin sister Shuri.

Two stories will vary in mood and style as both of them have different personalities, and romantic partners for both of them will be different heroines.

This visual novel has usual set of options, from checking the message log, to selecting presented choices during key dialogues that may branch the story in one way or the other leading to different events.

Non-player characters have full voice acting (even the player characters when you are not playing as one of them), and are mildly animated during the dialogues, whereas otherwise come in several different pre-set poses that tries to mimic their disposition and mood during dialogues.

While talking to other characters, otherwise clear background images get blurred putting the focus on the characters you are talking to.

Bonus content such as unlockable CG events and BGM player that is often present in visual novels is not implemented in this game.

About PlayStation 2

The PlayStation 2 (2000) is the best-selling game console in history, with a library exceeding 9,000 titles that spans everything from budget shovelware to genre-defining classics. That massive volume means PS2 collecting is accessible and affordable overall, but a handful of low-print-run RPGs and cult titles have become genuinely expensive — a common pattern once a console's original audience grows up with disposable income.

Gamevaro tracks Myself; Yourself for PlayStation 2 with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.

Adding Myself; Yourself to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically.

Rarity & condition

Only a handful of market sales have been tracked for Myself; Yourself, suggesting it doesn't trade hands very often — a sign of relative scarcity compared to more common PlayStation 2 titles.

Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.
