About this game
A turn-based strategy RPG, Summon Night casts you as one of four high school students (2 male and 2 female) who are magically whisked away to a fantasy land for purposes unknown.
Once there they will find out that they can control the powerful summon gems which upon different combinations with items can summon a magical creature to your aid for specific spells or to join you in battle as an ally.

The game plays as an isometric RPG in which you explore towns freely, chatting with NPCs to advance the plot, recruit allies and purchase items.
When in combat you are transported to an isometric tile-based map in which you issue orders to your characters and attempt to defeat your enemies.
Terrain and elevation provide significant advantages, so correctly positioning your forces is a must.
The game features bright 2D graphics and anime-styled character designs.
Depending on who you choose as your protagonist, different paths will be open to you as each has their distinct personality and guardian creature, that provides unique abilities.
Also dialogue choices determine which ending you may get and whether you can recruit certain party members or not.
The Nintendo DS release cuts the voice acting and opening movie, but adds a quicksave feature and a dialogue back-log.
It also adds the Party Point system originally introduced in Summon Night 3 , a handful of items and abilities from Summon Night 2 , and a new "Summon Communication" system that lets you upgrade certain Summon's abilities.
About PlayStation 2
The PlayStation 2 (2000) is the best-selling game console in history, with a library exceeding 9,000 titles that spans everything from budget shovelware to genre-defining classics. That massive volume means PS2 collecting is accessible and affordable overall, but a handful of low-print-run RPGs and cult titles have become genuinely expensive — a common pattern once a console's original audience grows up with disposable income.
Gamevaro tracks Summon Night EX-Thesis: Yoake no Tsubasa for PlayStation 2 with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Rarity & condition
Only a handful of market sales have been tracked for Summon Night EX-Thesis: Yoake no Tsubasa, suggesting it doesn't trade hands very often — a sign of relative scarcity compared to more common PlayStation 2 titles.
Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.
