About this game
Originally released for PC (Windows) under the same title, as an adult visual novel, the game was then ported to consoles with removed adult contents, but additional CG events and story elements to compensate for the lack of erotic scenes.
The game follows Makoto Okano (丘野 真) as he returns to his hometown after 10 years away.

Before he left, he and Minamo Narukaze (鳴風 みなも) made a promise to each other to meet again.
She told him she will keep on playing the harmonic and even though he may be too far away to see it, the wind will carry the melody, hopefully all the way to his place.
Ten long years have passed, and together with his younger sister, Hinata Okano (丘野 ひなた), Makoto returns to his hometown.
One evening, after school classes, he hears a melody that attracts his attention, which in turn leads him to the roof where he sees a girl with a purple hair, playing a harmonica.
Not realizing at first who she is, the truth soon becomes clear that the girl is none other than Minamo, and promise of their reunion has been fulfilled via serendipity, but that is just the beginning of their story.
The game comes with lost of bonus unlockable elements, from BGM and CG galleries to animated videos, all accessible via main menu.
Character animation is limited to talking only while the rest relies on still drawn in different poses.
The game also relies on zooming and scrolling to emphasize certain scenes or when introducing new characters to the scene.
Voice-acting in the game is present for everyone but the main character.
About PlayStation 2
The PlayStation 2 (2000) is the best-selling game console in history, with a library exceeding 9,000 titles that spans everything from budget shovelware to genre-defining classics. That massive volume means PS2 collecting is accessible and affordable overall, but a handful of low-print-run RPGs and cult titles have become genuinely expensive — a common pattern once a console's original audience grows up with disposable income.
Gamevaro tracks Wind: A Breath of Heart for PlayStation 2 with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding Wind: A Breath of Heart to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This PS2 release dates back to 2006.

Rarity & condition
Only a handful of market sales have been tracked for Wind: A Breath of Heart, suggesting it doesn't trade hands very often — a sign of relative scarcity compared to more common PlayStation 2 titles.
Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.
