Wizardry Empire III
PlayStation 2 · 2003
About this game
This Wizardry series spin-off has no proper storyline, but the player is required to lead a party to delve down a 30-level dungeon and slay the demon Cthulhu.
The game combines elements of Wizardry V and Wizardry VI with unique features: Gender has been added as an attribute, each with their own small bonuses and exclusive classes associated with them.

Additional classes have been incorporated, including the Archer at the start of the game, and the promotional classes Valiant, Avenger, Musashi, Kunoichi, and Summoner.
There are now two equipment slots for each hand, instead of one slot dedicated to a weapon and one for a shield, allowing for dual-wielding.
Spells are divided into eight categories.
Some of those spells are exclusive to particular classes.
The spells also have names that say what they do.
Opposite alignments are no longer restricted in a party.
About PlayStation 2
The PlayStation 2 (2000) is the best-selling game console in history, with a library exceeding 9,000 titles that spans everything from budget shovelware to genre-defining classics. That massive volume means PS2 collecting is accessible and affordable overall, but a handful of low-print-run RPGs and cult titles have become genuinely expensive — a common pattern once a console's original audience grows up with disposable income.
Gamevaro tracks Wizardry Empire III for PlayStation 2 with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding Wizardry Empire III to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This PS2 release dates back to 2003.

Rarity & condition
Only a handful of market sales have been tracked for Wizardry Empire III, suggesting it doesn't trade hands very often — a sign of relative scarcity compared to more common PlayStation 2 titles.
Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.
