About this game
This 3D board game consists of a series of duels, which are played with cards.

Before starting, you have to choose a symbol, assign parameters to it (based on monster points, action points and power points) and buy a starter kit card deck.
In a typical campaign game, you start in the entrance hall, where you manage your cards and monsters.
To duel, you choose one of the four areas with five levels each, and defeat the opponents.
New monsters are acquired by winning the match.
The turn-based duels are played as a card game.
Both characters start with a deck of cards and a number of health points.
When a health status reaches zero, the battle is over.
You attack your opponent by summoning monsters and assigning abilities to them.
Trick cards can be used to gain both offensive and defensive advantages.
Before each duel, you have to pick a monster that is up for ante, and the fighting is influenced by various parameters, including the land form you are playing on.
About PlayStation 2
The PlayStation 2 (2000) is the best-selling game console in history, with a library exceeding 9,000 titles that spans everything from budget shovelware to genre-defining classics. That massive volume means PS2 collecting is accessible and affordable overall, but a handful of low-print-run RPGs and cult titles have become genuinely expensive — a common pattern once a console's original audience grows up with disposable income.
Gamevaro tracks Yu-Gi-Oh! Capsule Monster Coliseum for PlayStation 2 with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding Yu-Gi-Oh! Capsule Monster Coliseum to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This PS2 release dates back to 2004.

Market insights
Rarity & condition
Yu-Gi-Oh! Capsule Monster Coliseum has a steady sales history on the tracked marketplaces, meaning enough copies circulate to establish a reliable market price.
Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.
