As with previous expansions four additional large tank battle maps are included.
New Tank Superiority game mode is a variation on Conquest where only one flag is at the center of the map.
Each team works to control that flag to increase ticket drain on the enemy to win the round.
Each team’s base has two tanks along with six of the new vehicle tank destroyers allowing 16 vehicles hammering it out for control.
In addition another new vehicle added is mobile artillery which launches high-explosive rockets great distances.
Another new concept introduced is the AC-130 Spectre gunship with one team controlling this powerful airborne weapons platform.
To use the gunship a team must control the associated control point during Conquest matches and in Rush matches the attacking team always has access to a gunship.
It has lethal close ground support weapons with a 25mm cannon, 105mm cannon and anti-aircraft turrets along with IR Flares to handle incoming missiles.
It slowly circles the battlefield and also allows for spawn point paratroop drops from the team controlling it.
The DLC includes: - 4 - New maps Alborz Mountains, Armored Shield, Bandar Desert, Death Valley 2 - New Tank Superiority game mode 6 - New vehicles Gunship, US/RU Tank Destroyers, US/RU Rocket Mobile Artillery, and Quad Bike 5 - New assignments for additional unlocks Variety of new dog tags
About PlayStation 3
Released in 2006, the PlayStation 3 had a rocky start thanks to its high launch price but became known for its exclusive franchises and Blu-ray drive, which doubled as an early home theater upgrade for many households. PS3 collecting is still relatively young — most titles are inexpensive — but the console's digital PSN storefront closure risk has pushed more collectors toward physical copies specifically to preserve access.
Gamevaro tracks Battlefield 3: Armored Kill for PlayStation 3 with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding Battlefield 3: Armored Kill to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This PS3 release dates back to 2012.

Rarity & condition
Only a handful of market sales have been tracked for Battlefield 3: Armored Kill, suggesting it doesn't trade hands very often — a sign of relative scarcity compared to more common PlayStation 3 titles.
Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.
