Gran Turismo 5 Spec II
PlayStation 3 · 2011
About this game
Gran Turismo 5: Prologue contains a small sample of Gran Turismo 5 but was released as a stand-alone game, a tradition started with Gran Turismo 4: Prologue and is made available at a lower price than regular PS3 games.
Widely based on the Gran Turismo 4 engine but with many minor tweaks and changes, it contains more than 60 representations of real cars, five tracks and three series of events.

It also contains improved support for Logitech Driving Force steering controllers and a wider variety of options.
Ferraris will be included for the first time in the series and it includes visible car damage.
The driving physics have been improved on and cars handle more realistically than in GT4.
The game contains more music, ranging from lounge and jazz-funk to indie and electronica.
The base version is upgraded through different digital downloads, adding new modes and videos (1.11 - December 2007) and a much larger update (2.0 - March 2008) with new cars, circuits, modes, events and different features.
Since 2.0, the game is referred to as Gran Turismo 5: Prologue - Spec II .
That version was updated once more in April 2008 as 2.10 with more features.
These updates are free to download, but in some countries the updated version is actually the retail one.
PAL regions received the 2.0 version while North American received 2.10 by default.
About PlayStation 3
Released in 2006, the PlayStation 3 had a rocky start thanks to its high launch price but became known for its exclusive franchises and Blu-ray drive, which doubled as an early home theater upgrade for many households. PS3 collecting is still relatively young — most titles are inexpensive — but the console's digital PSN storefront closure risk has pushed more collectors toward physical copies specifically to preserve access.
Gamevaro tracks Gran Turismo 5 Spec II for PlayStation 3 with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding Gran Turismo 5 Spec II to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This PS3 release dates back to 2011.

Rarity & condition
Only a handful of market sales have been tracked for Gran Turismo 5 Spec II, suggesting it doesn't trade hands very often — a sign of relative scarcity compared to more common PlayStation 3 titles.
Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.
