PlayStation 3 · 2009
About this game
James Cameron's Avatar: The Game for PSP and Wii shares the setting with the blockbuster movie, but tells a completely different story.
A nameless Na’vi warrior, the only survivor of the village destroyed by the RDA (humans), sets on a journey to avenge the death of his people.

Along the way he will master his warrior skills, tame a few exotic creatures and find another tribe to accept him as a brother.
This is a 3D action game with an emphasis on stealth.
The warrior has two means of attack – a bow and a staff, but there’s not much he can do in an open combat against several soldiers or robots, so he needs to hide behind objects or in the grass and attack stealthily.
The warrior collects ‘Eywa spirits’ to upgrade his weapons and the “way of the hunter” – a skill that allows him to stay undetected longer or increase attack strength.
There are some flying missions as well.
The scrolling is automatic, so the warrior just needs to maneuver on screen avoiding bombs or projectiles and shoot down enemies.
About PlayStation 3
Released in 2006, the PlayStation 3 had a rocky start thanks to its high launch price but became known for its exclusive franchises and Blu-ray drive, which doubled as an early home theater upgrade for many households. PS3 collecting is still relatively young — most titles are inexpensive — but the console's digital PSN storefront closure risk has pushed more collectors toward physical copies specifically to preserve access.
Gamevaro tracks James Cameron's AVATAR: The Game for PlayStation 3 with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding James Cameron's AVATAR: The Game to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This PS3 release dates back to 2009.

Rarity & condition
Only a handful of market sales have been tracked for James Cameron's AVATAR: The Game, suggesting it doesn't trade hands very often — a sign of relative scarcity compared to more common PlayStation 3 titles.
Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.
