While the main adventure mode stages remain the same from the earlier game, this version allows players to tackle the main adventure mode cooperatively online.
A challenge mode has also been added which is a set of 25 minigames, which include a home-run contest, guiding a fairground swan down a river, and a Concentration type card game.
Beating these challenges unlocks extra character costumes.
Other changes include the controls being overhauled to a more conventional dual-stick shooter control scheme.
Also, this game does away with the previous game's checkpoint system, and replaces it with a respawn system in which each death just costs the player monster tokens.
There is also the addition of 100 character-specific purchasable accessories.
About PlayStation 3
Released in 2006, the PlayStation 3 had a rocky start thanks to its high launch price but became known for its exclusive franchises and Blu-ray drive, which doubled as an early home theater upgrade for many households. PS3 collecting is still relatively young — most titles are inexpensive — but the console's digital PSN storefront closure risk has pushed more collectors toward physical copies specifically to preserve access.
Gamevaro tracks Monster Madness: Grave Danger for PlayStation 3 with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding Monster Madness: Grave Danger to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This PS3 release dates back to 2008.

Market insights
Rarity & condition
