In Tsume Shōgi Mondai Teikyō: Shogi Sekai , making use of the Tsume variant of Shogi, the player can put their skills to the test in the board game.

There are three modes: Practice Mode - The player has to answer 230 questions about the shogi puzzles with attacking moves varying from 5 to 11 for the king to be in checkmate.

Released in 2006, the PlayStation 3 had a rocky start thanks to its high launch price but became known for its exclusive franchises and Blu-ray drive, which doubled as an early home theater upgrade for many households.
