The game consists of levels in a top-down view, made up of satellite images of real cities.
Players have to avoid getting too close to any of the various monsters roaming the streets.
They can switch to an infrared mode, where civilians hiding in buildings can be seen.
Once The Last Guy comes close to them, they start forming a line behind him.
Players can make the hero character dash for a short time or speed up the line of people behind them.
It is also possible to quickly make an entire building join the line by encircling it with a long enough trail of people.
To help the player, items can be picked up which freeze the monsters for a while for example.
About PlayStation 3
Released in 2006, the PlayStation 3 had a rocky start thanks to its high launch price but became known for its exclusive franchises and Blu-ray drive, which doubled as an early home theater upgrade for many households. PS3 collecting is still relatively young — most titles are inexpensive — but the console's digital PSN storefront closure risk has pushed more collectors toward physical copies specifically to preserve access.
Gamevaro tracks The Last Guy for PlayStation 3 with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding The Last Guy to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This PS3 release dates back to 2008.

Market insights
Rarity & condition
The Last Guy has a steady sales history on the tracked marketplaces, meaning enough copies circulate to establish a reliable market price.
Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.
