The player-controlled B-Movie star shoots his way through multiple themed sets, filled with cardboard enemies and obviously fake environments.
The game features five movies, all spoofing different movie genres, such as Horror and Westerns.
Throughout these movies the protagonist is tasked with defeating enemies, freeing the civilians and putting on the best possible performance by activating motion-based power-ups.
The player can shoot into the floor to send out a shockwave to vanquish all enemies on the screen.
It is also possible to spin on the spot to slow down time and get a more accurate shot.
Shooting into the sky activates Rampage, a powerful machine gun.
To score the most points the player needs to maintain accuracy and not miss between targets.
It is necessary to build up multiplier to make the difference between a novice and an expert score.
About PlayStation 3
Released in 2006, the PlayStation 3 had a rocky start thanks to its high launch price but became known for its exclusive franchises and Blu-ray drive, which doubled as an early home theater upgrade for many households. PS3 collecting is still relatively young — most titles are inexpensive — but the console's digital PSN storefront closure risk has pushed more collectors toward physical copies specifically to preserve access.
Gamevaro tracks The Shoot for PlayStation 3 with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding The Shoot to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This PS3 release dates back to 2010.

Market insights
Rarity & condition
The Shoot has a steady sales history on the tracked marketplaces, meaning enough copies circulate to establish a reliable market price.
Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.
