The game plays like an interactive movie where the player has an action choice after watching a cut-scene.
Sometimes choices are simply of where to go next, while otherwise, and in most cases, choices are about what to do next.
During the latter choices, the movie scene stops and the player can look around in a 360 degree angle and select among the choices available.
Dying in this game does not mean game over and there are many ways to die and many also unavoidable.
Each time the player dies he wakes up again in a hotel room and the time resets.
However, not everything remains exactly the same, and previous actions and revelations are known to main character, but not to all other characters he meets.
In order to reduce amount of uploaded gameplay walkthroughs, the game opens with a message from the developers asking not to capture videos in order to avoid spoilers for other users playing for the first time.
Furthermore, the screenshot capture button is disabled throughout the game.
About PlayStation 4
The PlayStation 4 (2013) cemented Sony's dominance of the eighth console generation, with a library exceeding 30,000 titles once indie and digital-only releases are counted. Most PS4 games remain affordable for collectors, but limited physical print runs — particularly from smaller publishers and later in the console's life cycle — are starting to see steady price increases as digital storefronts eventually wind down support.
Gamevaro tracks Death Come True for PlayStation 4 with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding Death Come True to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This PS4 release dates back to 2020.

Rarity & condition
Only a handful of market sales have been tracked for Death Come True, suggesting it doesn't trade hands very often — a sign of relative scarcity compared to more common PlayStation 4 titles.
Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.
