Extinction

This game is on a lot of fronts the same as the first one, only differing in certain aspects.

The game features the same dinosaur classes as the original with only the skins being different: Tyrannosaurus Rex, Spinosaurus, Dilophosaurus, Carnotaurus, Pteranodon and the non-existing species Novaraptor.

Human classes are also the same and include the Trapper, Commando, Scientist, Pathfinder and Pyromaniac.

The human classes did get new weapons and a loadout system is now in effect instead of only being able to use one set.

The game includes all maps from the first game and its updates, and the map rotation is strengthened by three new maps: Transfer, Verdant, and Contingency.

All game modes from the original game are also available here, including the "Get to the Chopper" mode, later added through an update to Primal Carnage .

The game is more supported through Steam than its predecessor, having tradeable human skins, dinosaur skins, weapon skins, and hats and accessories for both human and dinosaur characters.

Extinction for PlayStation 4 is currently worth €20.22 loose, €7.10 complete in box, and €12.48 factory sealed. Prices are based on real sales and update regularly on Gamevaro.

Extinction has a steady sales history on the tracked marketplaces, meaning it trades hands regularly and isn't considered particularly rare.

Loose means cartridge or disc only, CIB (complete in box) includes the original box and manual, and sealed means factory-sealed and never opened. For Extinction, loose is €20.22 and CIB is €7.10 — CIB commands a premium because original boxes and manuals are fragile and often don't survive.

The PAL version of Extinction is currently worth €20.22 loose, versus €14.43 for NTSC-U. Regional price differences usually come down to print run size and regional collector demand.
