Additional playable units are rolled out on a regular schedule as paid DLC.
As in the other Vs. series games units are controlled with the 3+2 button layout, with three buttons dedicated to shooting, melee, and dashing, respectively, and additional attacks possible by pressing buttons simultaneously.
Additional buttons are used to change targets (in multiple target combat) and send quick messages to an ally.
New for this version is a universal striker system.
In previous games some units would have, as a regular move, the ability to summon additional MS/MA into the battlefield.
Now all units select a striker unit before a match, and can summon them on command with a recharge delay, or only once per match for more powerful strikers.
Units "level up" based on their total play time, unlocking new strikers, player icons & title, and in-battle cosmetic navigators and pilots.
The A/B Awakening system introduced in FULL BOOST has also been updated into Blaze Gear and Lighting Gear selections.
Now all units have roughly similar stat boosts for Burst mode depending on the Gear selection; either higher damage and speed for Blaze, or higher combo potential and damage reduction for Lighting.
A new dashing technique, Boost Dive, has been added to rapidly return aerial units to the ground.
This is an important technique to master, as a new Unit Inactive debuff has been added that greatly penalizes running out of boost meter.
The longer a unit stays at zero boost while airborne the more time they will spend immobile after returning to the ground, up to two seconds.

About PlayStation 4
The PlayStation 4 (2013) cemented Sony's dominance of the eighth console generation, with a library exceeding 30,000 titles once indie and digital-only releases are counted. Most PS4 games remain affordable for collectors, but limited physical print runs — particularly from smaller publishers and later in the console's life cycle — are starting to see steady price increases as digital storefronts eventually wind down support.
Gamevaro tracks Gundam Versus [Premium G Sound Edition] for PlayStation 4 with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding Gundam Versus [Premium G Sound Edition] to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This PS4 release dates back to 2017.

Rarity & condition
Only a handful of market sales have been tracked for Gundam Versus [Premium G Sound Edition], suggesting it doesn't trade hands very often — a sign of relative scarcity compared to more common PlayStation 4 titles.
Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.
