About this game
Lifeless Planet is a game where the player controls an astronaut who signed up to a one-way mission to explore an inhabitable planet far away.
After travelling for fifteen years, he crashes/lands and discovers it is a barren wasteland instead of the lush scenery that was promised.

His crew is gone and they seemed to have moved on before him in the exploration.
There is no time to waste, as an oxygen leak presses him to move fast.
He discovers traces left behind by his crew and then finds out the planet may not be uninhabited at all; there is life and he quickly discovers an abandoned town of Russian origin.
The character can be moved around freely in a large and seemingly boundless environment.
There is however a linear path to follow.
The game is divided in about 20 areas, each with their own type of scenery set on the surface and underground, with both natural and artificial environments.
Next to moving around, the astronaut is able to jump and can use a quick burst of his jet pack for a short moment.
After locating additional jet pack fuel and adjusting to the low-gravity environment, multiple bursts in succession are possible to travel farther.
Later on the discovery of a mobile robotic arm introduces a way to handle objects that cannot be touched directly or cannot be handled with his suit.
The focus is almost entirely on exploring and a lot of distance needs to be covered on foot.
It also contains some minor puzzles based around platforming and finding ways to progress through the environment.
Interaction with the environment is for instance provided by the ability to push objects.
The astronaut's thoughts can be read in a log through his Holo Tab.
The later PS4/X1 Premier Edition releases have new music, visual upgrades (especially for the terrain), new content through audio and text logs, and Russian audio localization.
For PC the Premier Edition was provided as a free update, also replacing the original version.
About PlayStation 4
The PlayStation 4 (2013) cemented Sony's dominance of the eighth console generation, with a library exceeding 30,000 titles once indie and digital-only releases are counted. Most PS4 games remain affordable for collectors, but limited physical print runs — particularly from smaller publishers and later in the console's life cycle — are starting to see steady price increases as digital storefronts eventually wind down support.
Gamevaro tracks Lifeless Planet for PlayStation 4 with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding Lifeless Planet to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This PS4 release dates back to 2019.

Rarity & condition
Only a handful of market sales have been tracked for Lifeless Planet, suggesting it doesn't trade hands very often — a sign of relative scarcity compared to more common PlayStation 4 titles.
Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.
