Each one consists of multiple races with different types of objectives.
These need to be completed to collect a set amount of gears needed to unlock the final race of a season.
Multiple types of cars can be acquired based on three categories: dune buggies, road racers and trucks and there are also three types of classes.
Winning races is rewarded with experience and a currency.
New cars can be bought and they usually become available at certain levels based on the total amount of experience.
The main car statistics are speed, acceleration, grip, suspension and boost.
The car and boost colour can be customized.
Controls are limited to acceleration and breaking.
There are many obstacles on the tracks and it is possible to drift.
The type of surface and elevation also plays a role.
Cars do not have a damage system.
While racing, a boost meter fills up gradually and when full a short speed boost can be activated.
The game environments are the sun-scorched Sand Town and the asphalt city streets of New Shangri-la.
There is a fixed and a dynamic camera angle available.
There are eight types of races including accumulator (collect points), endurance, knockout, lap and sprint races, overtake, time trials etc.
To keep receiving gears and to unlock all elements a top 3 usually needs to be reached.
Players can also participate in weekly challenges.
There are many types of upgrades affecting the car's performance: boost, engine, gear box, suspension and tyres that are unlocked and can be used to alter a car's performance.
Each car has a small amount of slots to fit them, but more become available after upgrading.
From the selection of upgrades any one can be applied or combined.
They can also be removed afterwards, but then they are lost.
About PlayStation 4
The PlayStation 4 (2013) cemented Sony's dominance of the eighth console generation, with a library exceeding 30,000 titles once indie and digital-only releases are counted. Most PS4 games remain affordable for collectors, but limited physical print runs — particularly from smaller publishers and later in the console's life cycle — are starting to see steady price increases as digital storefronts eventually wind down support.
Gamevaro tracks Mantis Burn Racing for PlayStation 4 with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding Mantis Burn Racing to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This PS4 release dates back to 2016.

Market insights
Rarity & condition
Only a handful of market sales have been tracked for Mantis Burn Racing, suggesting it doesn't trade hands very often — a sign of relative scarcity compared to more common PlayStation 4 titles.
Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.
