About this game

He joins the school's journalism club after being pressured to by his childhood friend, Megu Mikazuki, and as such has a camera that he can use to investigate interesting events around the island or just plain get into mischief.

The game progresses in increments of days.

The player starts at the high school on each weekday, but can freely explore the island after school, triggering events and accepting quests as they please.

There is no school on the weekends, giving the player more time and more destinations to explore.

The protagonist's camera is a central gameplay mechanic; with it, the player can take photos of almost anything for the journalism club, and photos of characters will return their name and characteristics.

Acting like a nuisance by bothering people or by taking upskirt photos will eventually draw the attention of the police, who must be avoided in order for the suspicion gauge to clear.

The protagonist has a reputation on the island which improves as he completes quests and helps people but decreases if he is a nuisance.

The player also has a favorability rating with each of the potential heroines, which influences the development of the story and eventually determines whether Natsuo ends up in a relationship or as a single man.

About PlayStation 4

The PlayStation 4 (2013) cemented Sony's dominance of the eighth console generation, with a library exceeding 30,000 titles once indie and digital-only releases are counted. Most PS4 games remain affordable for collectors, but limited physical print runs — particularly from smaller publishers and later in the console's life cycle — are starting to see steady price increases as digital storefronts eventually wind down support.

Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.

Rarity & condition

Only a handful of market sales have been tracked for Natsuiro High School: Seishun Hakusho, suggesting it doesn't trade hands very often — a sign of relative scarcity compared to more common PlayStation 4 titles.

Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.
