About this game
Serious Sam 4 is a first-person shooter in the Serious Sam series and the first main instalment in the series since Serious Sam 3: BFE .
Taking place some time before the previous entry, Serious Sam 4 again puts players in the role of "Serious" Sam Stone, a wisecracking human soldier in the Earth Defense Force on a mission to defeat the evil alien hordes sent to invade Earth by the extradimensional warlord "Mental".

The story reveals that before the events of the previous games, a massive portal opened in Tunguska, Russia which allowed Mental's forces easier access to Earth, and Sam and his allies, who accompany the player as NPCs for most of the game, were sent to shut it down.
Like previous games, the gameplay primarily focuses on combat against a massive number of enemies, requiring the player to run backwards and circle-strafe while firing on all cylinders.
Throughout the game, the player may come across new weapons and upgrades which add new features to their weapons, as well as Sirian artifacts which allow Sam to unlock special abilities from a skill tree, such as the ability to dual-wield different weapons in each hand and perform takedowns to instantly kill larger enemies in close-quarters combat.
One of the game's new features is the "Legion system", which allows over 100,000 enemies to be shown on-screen at once.
The game features a co-op mode in which the campaign can be played with up to four players, as well as a survival mode where players must last as long as possible against endless hordes of enemies.
Survival mode can be played alone or with up to four players.
About PlayStation 4
The PlayStation 4 (2013) cemented Sony's dominance of the eighth console generation, with a library exceeding 30,000 titles once indie and digital-only releases are counted. Most PS4 games remain affordable for collectors, but limited physical print runs — particularly from smaller publishers and later in the console's life cycle — are starting to see steady price increases as digital storefronts eventually wind down support.
Gamevaro tracks Serious Sam 4 for PlayStation 4 with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding Serious Sam 4 to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This PS4 release dates back to 2020.

Rarity & condition
Only a handful of market sales have been tracked for Serious Sam 4, suggesting it doesn't trade hands very often — a sign of relative scarcity compared to more common PlayStation 4 titles.
Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.
