He soon teams up with Duran, who claims he can help him regain memories.

But that will require to venture into the dangerous and uncharted lands, which task Adol more than happily undertakes.

During the gameplay, the player controls single character, while the other party characters fight on their own.

Switching between characters is also possible, and can be useful as each character fights differently and uses different kind of weapons and attacks.

This game is similar to the rest of the series, in a way it is real-time role-playing game with no random encounters as all the enemies are fought on the world map as you see them.

As you characters level up, they will learn new skills and be able to perform more powerful attacks.

About PlayStation 4

The PlayStation 4 (2013) cemented Sony's dominance of the eighth console generation, with a library exceeding 30,000 titles once indie and digital-only releases are counted. Most PS4 games remain affordable for collectors, but limited physical print runs — particularly from smaller publishers and later in the console's life cycle — are starting to see steady price increases as digital storefronts eventually wind down support.

Gamevaro tracks Ys: Memories of Celceta - Kai for PlayStation 4 with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.

Adding Ys: Memories of Celceta - Kai to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This PS4 release dates back to 2019.

Rarity & condition

Only a handful of market sales have been tracked for Ys: Memories of Celceta - Kai, suggesting it doesn't trade hands very often — a sign of relative scarcity compared to more common PlayStation 4 titles.

Complete-in-box (CIB) copies typically command a premium over loose cartridges/discs because the original box and manual are more fragile and get discarded or damaged over time — fewer complete sets survive.
