PlayStation 5 · 2026
About this game
Hi-Fi Rush is a single-player, action rhythm-based brawler.
The game follows Chai, a wannabe rock star who volunteers for a corporate experiment and accidentally ends up with a music player fused to his chest.

Branded a defect by the corporation that performed the experiment, Chai becomes a target for extermination and must battle his way through company executives, robotic enforcers, and security systems.
Along the way he forms a team of allies, each with their own abilities, who join him in resisting the company’s plans.
Gameplay centers on rhythm-driven combat where every attack, dodge, and ability is tied to the beat of the soundtrack.
Chai wields a makeshift guitar-shaped weapon to perform light and heavy combos.
Players are encouraged to time their actions with the background music, as synchronization enhances damage and builds combo multipliers.
Even if input is slightly off, the animations align to the beat, ensuring the rhythm is always maintained.
Chai’s companions can be summoned mid-fight to exploit enemy weaknesses or trigger puzzle-solving abilities, such as breaking shields or activating distant switches.
Progression is structured around mission-based stages, each with distinct environments, hazards, and themed bosses.
Defeating enemies rewards gears, a form of currency used to purchase new moves and abilities.
Additional upgrades can increase health, special attack capacity, and combat options.
The game grades performance after battles and stages based on timing accuracy, combo variety, and damage taken, encouraging replay to improve ranks.
Extra modes unlock after completion, such as higher difficulty levels, time-based challenges, and a rhythm tower that tests endurance against waves of enemies.
About PlayStation 5
Launched in late 2020, the PlayStation 5 introduced ultra-fast SSD loading and ray tracing to mainstream console gaming. It's still early in its collecting life cycle, but the Digital Edition (no disc drive) has already created a meaningful split in the market between disc-based and digital-only PS5 owners — something collectors should keep in mind when comparing prices for the "same" game.
Gamevaro tracks Hi-Fi Rush [Rhythm Edition] for PlayStation 5 with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
Adding Hi-Fi Rush [Rhythm Edition] to a Gamevaro collection takes seconds — search by title or scan the box barcode, and the app fills in cover art, release details and current pricing automatically. This PS5 release dates back to 2026.

Condition matters a lot for collector value: loose (cartridge/disc only), complete-in-box (CIB, with original packaging and manual) and factory-sealed copies are tracked separately because the price gap between them can be significant, especially for older releases.
